| Resumen: Las micosis superficiales pueden ser endémicas y están extendidas a todo el mundo, en general son benignas atacando la piel, pelos y uñas. Se determinará género y especies de Dermatofitos, Candida y Malassezia. Curan más o menos rápidamente con tratamiento adecuado, aunque el abuso en la medicación nos lleva a estudiar la resistencia de cepas aisladas de lesión. Se determinará la prevalencia de la hidatidosis en la provincia de San Luis y se caracterizará el genoma del parásito por técnicas moleculares a fin de conocer el tipo de cepa de cada región. Se investigará la prevalencia de brucelosis humana en la provincia mediante la utilización de técnicas de -screening- (aglutinación)y confirmatorias (aglutinación en tubo y ELISA) novedosas para nuestro medio que se adquieren en el ANLIS “Dr. Carlos Malbrán”. En residentes de distintas zonas de la provincia de San Luis, clasificados por edad y sexo, se determinarán TSH sensible, T4 y T4 libre para valorar el estado de la tiroides, permitiendo establecer la distribución y frecuencia de patologías |

| Abstract: Superficial mycosis can be endemic and it occurs all over the world. Generally benign, it attacks skin, hair and fingernails. The aim of this work is to determine Dermatofitos, Candida and Malessezia genus and species. Although it heals rather rapidly when adequately treated, abuse of medication leads us to study the resistance of lesion isolated strains. The prevalence of hydatidosis in San Luis will be determined, and the genome of the parasite will be characterized through molecular techniques in order to know the type of strain of each region. The prevalence of human brucellosis in San Luis will be investigated using screening (agglutination) and confirmation (agglutination in tube and ELISA) techniques. These methods are new in our province and can be obtained from ANLIS ´Dr. Carlos Malbrán´. THS sensible, T4 and free T4 will be determined in the inhabitants from different zones of the province according to age and sex in order to assess the thyroid state, which will make the establishment of pathologies distribution and frequency possible. |
