Resumen:
Considerando las conclusiones parciales obtenidas en las investigaciones
realizadas, por este grupo de investigación, se ha mantenido
e incrementado el interés de continuar investigando el
tema. En la presentación anterior se decidió profundizar
el problema de las determinaciones inconscientes, esta vez en
las enfermedades orgánicas y trastornos corporales, incluyéndose
en el periodo 1999-2003 diferentes patologías orgánicas
y/o con trastornos corporales, así como nuevos ejes teóricos
a analizar. En esta nueva presentación se eligieron dos
patologías entre las anteriormente estudiadas: hipertensión
–diabetes, trastornos profundamente relacionados. Esta afirmación
queda demostrada frente a los siguientes datos: la hipertensión
es aproximadamente dos veces más probable en diabéticos
que en no diabéticos y los hipertensos tienen mayor predisposición
a desarrollar diabetes. La asociación entre ambas enfermedades,
y la relación con los trastornos cardiovasculares y los
accidentes cerebrovasculares, mas la amplia incidencia en la mortalidad,
las convierten en perturbaciones de interés relevante en
las investigaciones que aporten elementos beneficiosos para las
acciones terapéuticas, tanto médicas como psicológicas.

Abstract:
This research work focuses on two major disorders: hypertension
and diabetes. The close link between these two disorders is demonstrated
by the following data: hypertension is twice more frequent in
diabetic than in non diabetic subjects, and subjects with hypertension
are more prone to develop diabetes. Such association between the
two disorders and their relation to heart disorders, cerebral
vascular strokes and a high mortality index make them a relevant
topic of research that may contribute to medical and psychological
therapeutic actions. The present investigation is carried out
within the frame of Psychoanalytic Theory, particularly Klein
and the post Kleinians such as Bion and Meltzer, and is based
on a conception of health that privileges prevention and promotion.
The sample studied will mainly be made up of patients from public
and private institutions. Data will be collected by clinical interviews,
desiderative questionnaire, Rorschach test, depending on the characteristics
of the subjects (for example, age) or the theoretical issues to
be investigated. The deficient health care in our community triggers
the need to study in depth these pathologies. This research group
has already carried out research in this topic and will pursue
the analysis of a key issue: doctor-patient relationship and its
alterations. The patient does not frequently feel understood by
the medical system, which hinders a favorable evolution of his/her
disorder. The results of this investigation are expected to favor
approaches to overcome the mind-body dissociation frequently observed
in medical practice.
