Resumen:
Se investigarán relaciones entre parámetros neurofisiológicos,
variaciones hormonales, parámetros psicológicos
o cognitivos, y/o patologías. Se realizarán potenciales
evocados cerebrales, tests psicológicos y cognitivos y/o
determinaciones hormonales en los siguientes grupos: Mujeres jóvenes
con ciclo menstrual normal o ingiriendo anovulatorios, en la mitad
y en el final del ciclo. Hombres y mujeres jóvenes al inhalar
una feromona. Hombres y mujeres con Otosclerosis y con audición
normal. Se les realizarán potenciales evocados de tronco
cerebral y otras pruebas audiológicas. Hombres y mujeres
jóvenes eutiroideos, hipotiroideos e hipertiroideos. Se
les determinará T3, T4 y TSH, pruebas de atención
y memoria, inteligencia y potenciales evocados endógenos.
Hombres y mujeres jóvenes fumadores y no fumadores, luego
de masticar un chicle de nicotina o placebo. Se les registrará
electrocardiograma, pruebas de atención y de memoria. Niños
de escuelas de nivel social medio con nutrición normal,
y niños de sectores carenciados con déficits nutricionales,
serán estudiados con pruebas de desempeño ejecutivo.
Hombres y mujeres mayores de 60 años con o sin actividad
intelectual. Hombres y mujeres tratados con psicofármacos,
antes y luego del tratamiento. Mujeres menopáusicas previo
y pos tratamiento hormonal estrogénico. Para los potenciales
evocados endógenos, cuantificaremos latencia y amplitudes
de las ondas P2, N2 y P300.

Abstract:
Relationship between neurophysiological parameters, hormone variation,
psychological and cognitive parameters and/or pathologies will
be studied. Cerebral evoked potentials, psychological and cognitive
tests and/or hormonal determinations will be carried out in the
following groups: young women with normal or regular periods or
young women who take anovulatories in the middle or at the en
of the period; young women and men when inhaling feromone; women
and men with otoclerosis and normal hearing. Evoked potentials
of cerebral trunk and other hearing tests will be performed in
euthyroidean, hypothyroidean and hyperthyroidean young men and
women. T3, T4 and TSH , memory, intelligence and attention tests
and endogenous evoked potentials will be determined in young women
and men who smoke and who do not smoke after chewing a nicotine
or placebo gum. Electrocardiograms, attention and memory tests
will be performed in middle social class school children with
normal nutrition and in low social class children with poor nutrition.
Women and men over 60 with or without intellectual activity. Men
and women treated with medicine, before and after the treatment.
Menopausic women before and after estrogenic hormonal treatment.
Latency and wave magnitude will be quantified P2, N2 and P300
for the endogenic evoked potencials.
